On Sunday 26th June 2022 we welcomed back over 250 of our Port Regis alumni, and their families, to Port Regis for our renowned afternoon tea to celebrate 140 years of our fantastic school.
After such a long period of separation, it was wonderful to reconnect with pupils, parents and staff from the 1940s right up to 2021. Whether you left three years ago or three decades, you always remain a part of the Port Regis community - for life.
Founded in 1881, (becoming 'Port Regis' in 1921) we have had a great deal to celebrate this year - not least the ability to welcome everyone, free of restriction. It was particularly fantastic to be able to welcome back previous headmasters Stephen Ilett, Peter Dix and David Prichard as well as the perfect opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to a number of long serving staff members including Phil Lawrence, Libby Smith, Hayden May, Joanne Rutter, Ailsa Boardman-Hirst and Shaun and Carol Bracey.
